SQP Construction honed our specialty craft of rough carpentry and concrete with a long history of building military housing all across the United States. Working with some of the most prestigious General Contractor’s like Actus, Sundt, Lend Lease, Moss, and Hunt Building Company to complete over 14,000 units from coast to coast. During those years, we helped value engineer these large neighborhood projects, we learned how to shave time off schedules, simplify means and methods, and cut costs without ever sacrificing Safety, Quality, or Production.
After decades of military housing, the company shifted to projects going further vertically instead of horizontally. Focusing on wood framed hotels, apartment complexes, assisted living facilities, and commercial shopping centers, while still keeping busy “on-base” doing capital improvement work for the military housing project’s we helped build at Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms. We were once again fortune enough to work alongside some of the best General Contractor’s in America like Hathaway Dinwiddie, Suffolk, SBI Builders, Martin-Harris, Whiting-Turner, Cannon Constructors, Build Group, KPRS, Pacific West, and Prime Group. Taking a break from life on the road, we’ve shifted to establishing our own General Contracting Business at home in San Diego. Now focusing on serving clients with more general construction base than our specialty sub-contracting days.
